# Introduction

**Zirodelta builds programmable personal balance sheets.**

For you, that means one thing: money that never sits idle. **Zidee** is the wallet that lets you use yours, one balance built to earn, borrow, and spend, powered by the **Zirodelta Financial Engine**. Your money should work as hard as you do.

***

## The pieces, top to bottom

* **Zirodelta** is the company. A normal wallet records your balance sheet; Zirodelta builds the system that changes it.
* **The Zirodelta Financial Engine** is the platform: the Yield Engine (a delta-neutral funding strategy on Hyperliquid), plus the Credit, Conversion, Settlement, and Treasury Engines, the Referral Graph, and Fiat Rails. The Yield Engine is in its proving phase today; borrowing, spending, and referral income are in development.
* **Zidee** is the wallet where you use your balance sheet: [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com), installs to your phone.
* **ZDLT** is access and alignment, a token that pays you to stay. Hold it in Zidee and you are paid rewards in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT, so holders are never diluted. The longer and the more you hold, the more you are paid.
* **wzdUSD** is the working dollar you are paid in. Backed, market-priced, appreciating over time. It is not a $1 stablecoin, and we never call it one.

***

## Where the yield comes from

The Yield Engine is a market-neutral strategy that captures funding on Hyperliquid while holding no bet on price direction. The yield comes from that strategy, not from new deposits and not from printing tokens. See [What is Zirodelta?](/getting-started/what-is-zirodelta) and [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).

It is real, but it is early. The strategy is being **proven on the founder's own capital first**, on a public address you can watch, before any user money is accepted. Rewards are **variable and never guaranteed**, they can be low or even zero, and the vault stays closed to user funds until an independent **security audit and legal review** are done. We would rather be honest than loud.

***

## Quick facts

* **Non-custodial.** Your keys are yours (Privy, exportable). No key we hold can move your funds anywhere: the key that could move funds out of the pool is held off-server, our trading key can only place the pool's orders and never withdraw, and the deposit signer is policy-locked to the single route you explicitly authorize. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).
* **ZDLT:** fixed supply, mint and freeze authority revoked, 0% team allocation. On Solana.
* **wzdUSD:** the appreciating dollar you are paid in. Backed, market-priced, not a stablecoin. See [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd).
* **The app:** [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com) (Zidee, installs to your phone).

# What is Zirodelta?

**Zirodelta builds programmable personal balance sheets**: financial infrastructure that continuously turns idle digital assets into productive, liquid capital. [Zidee](/zidee-wallet/overview) is the wallet that lets anyone use that system.

In plain terms: the wallet where your money never sits idle. A normal wallet records your balance sheet; Zidee changes it. Your money should work as hard as you do, and everything Zirodelta builds exists to make that sentence true.

## The loop your money lives in

```mermaid
    A([Money enters]) --> B["It works<br/>earns yield"]
    B --> C["It backs borrowing<br/>liquidity without selling"]
    C --> D[It stays liquid]
    D --> E[It gets spent]
    E -->|and keeps working| B
```

That is the whole product. Deposit once, and the system's job is to make sure no dollar of yours sits idle: it earns yield, it can back borrowing so you get liquidity without selling, and it stays spendable while it works. One honest qualifier: **earning is what exists today, in its proving phase.** Borrowing and spending are what the system is built to do, and they are in development, rolling out feature by feature. We do not claim a feature is live before it is.

## The layers

```mermaid
flowchart TD
    A["Zirodelta<br/>the company"] --> B["The Zirodelta Financial Engine<br/>the platform"]
    B --> C["Zidee<br/>the wallet you use"]
```

* **Zirodelta** is the company. It builds programmable personal balance sheets.
* **The Zirodelta Financial Engine** is the platform: the Yield Engine, Credit Engine, Conversion Engine, Settlement Engine, Treasury Engine, Referral Graph, and Fiat Rails.
* **Zidee** is the wallet that lets you use your balance sheet, at [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com).
* **ZDLT** is access and alignment: a token that pays you to stay. Rewards are paid in **wzdUSD**, never in ZDLT, and they scale with how long and how much you hold ([tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers) act as reward multipliers). The token is never diluted to pay you. See [ZDLT Overview](/zdlt-token/overview).
* **wzdUSD** is the working dollar of the balance sheet, the dollar you are paid in. See [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd).

## Where the yield comes from

The **Yield Engine**, the first running part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, runs a **delta-neutral funding-capture** strategy on Hyperliquid: it collects funding payments while holding no bet on price direction. Yield is not paid from new deposits, and it is not paid by printing tokens. See [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained) and the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview).

It is real money, but it is variable: some periods pay well, some pay little, some can pay nothing. We never promise a number.

## Honest about where we are

The Yield Engine works, but it is early. It is being **proven on the founder's own capital first**, on a public address you can watch, before a single user dollar is accepted. The vault that backs wzdUSD stays closed to user funds until an **independent security audit and a legal review** are complete. Borrowing, spending, and referral income are in development, not live. Nothing here is a guarantee, and nothing here is financial advice.

## What Zirodelta is not

It is not a trading terminal, a leverage casino, or a place you go to actively trade. It is not a bank, and it is not a "crypto neobank", those are features or postures, not the category. There is nothing to babysit: you hold a balance in a wallet, the engine works in the background, and the only job that is yours is to stay.

> For plain-English definitions of every term above, see [Key Concepts](/getting-started/key-concepts).

# Quick Start

This gets you from zero to a working balance sheet, holding ZDLT in Zidee, in a few minutes. There is no trading, no seed phrase, and no perp mechanics to learn.

**What you need:** a phone, and a few dollars of USDC (or a card, where supported).

***

## 1. Get the app

Open [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com) on your phone and install it to your home screen. There is also an Android app. It is mobile-only.

## 2. Sign in

Log in with **Discord or email** through Privy. There is no seed phrase to write down at sign-up, the app builds your wallet for you. Your keys are yours and you can export them later in Settings.

## 3. Add money

Deposit **USDC** (minimum $25) from the in-app deposit screen. You can fund from Solana or Arbitrum, and it lands as your spendable USDC balance.

## 4. Get ZDLT

Swap USDC (or SOL) into **ZDLT** right in the app, powered by Jupiter. Keep a little SOL on hand for the network fee. The smallest swap is a few dollars.

## 5. Hold, and get paid

That is it, your money is now on the working side of your balance sheet. Getting paid is in the proving phase today: once rewards go live, holding ZDLT pays you in **wzdUSD**, the working dollar, and you are paid more the longer and the more you hold (see [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers)). You are never paid in ZDLT. Borrowing against your balance and spending it are in development, and roll out later.

***

## A few honest notes

* **Yield is variable.** It can be low or even zero. Anyone promising you a fixed return is lying.
* **It is early.** The Yield Engine is being proven on the founder's own capital first; the wallet's deposit-and-earn flow opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review.
* **wzdUSD is not a $1 stablecoin.** It is an appreciating, market-priced claim. See [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd).
* **Getting your money out:** sell ZDLT back to USDC or SOL in the app and send it anywhere, or withdraw your USDC balance directly.

## What to read next

# Key Concepts

Plain-English definitions for every term you will meet on Zirodelta. Each one answers: what is it, and why does it matter to you.

***

## Programmable personal balance sheet

The category Zirodelta builds. Every product in the system moves one of four lines of your personal balance sheet: **assets, liabilities, income, liquidity**. The loop you live inside keeps every dollar moving, from earning to collateral to spending and back to work, so none of it sits idle (see the diagram in [What is Zirodelta?](/getting-started/what-is-zirodelta)). Earning is in its proving phase today; the collateral (borrowing) and spending legs are in development.

## The Zirodelta Financial Engine

The platform behind Zidee: the **Yield Engine**, **Credit Engine**, **Conversion Engine**, **Settlement Engine**, **Treasury Engine**, **Referral Graph**, and **Fiat Rails**. The Yield Engine is the first part running, in its proving phase; the rest are in development. Zidee is the first client of this engine, not the engine itself.

## Zidee

The wallet that lets you use your programmable personal balance sheet. Non-custodial, mobile-first, at [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com). See [Zidee Wallet](/zidee-wallet/overview).

## ZDLT

Access and alignment: a token that pays you to stay. Fixed supply (no new tokens are ever minted), mint and freeze authority revoked, 0% allocated to the team. You hold it in [Zidee](/zidee-wallet/overview) and are paid rewards in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT. "Pays you to stay" refers to wzdUSD rewards, never to token price. See [ZDLT Overview](/zdlt-token/overview).

## wzdUSD

The working dollar of the balance sheet, and the dollar you are paid in. wzdUSD is a yield-bearing dollar that **appreciates over time**, more like a liquid-staking token than a stablecoin. It is **not pegged to $1**, and we never call it one: it is backed, but market-priced, and can trade a little above or below its backing. See [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd).

## Tiers and lock multipliers

How "paid more the longer and the more you hold" is made concrete. Holding ZDLT places you on a tier ladder named after the stars of Orion (Mintaka up to Saiph); holding longer adds a multiplier. Together they decide how large your share of the reward pool is. Tiers are **reward multipliers**, not trading limits. See [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers).

## Funding rate

A periodic payment between the long and short sides of a perpetual futures market. When the perp trades above spot, longs pay shorts; when below, shorts pay longs. The Yield Engine earns this payment. You never touch it directly. See [Funding Rates on Hyperliquid](/hyperliquid/funding-rates).

## Delta-neutral

A position with zero net exposure to price. The Yield Engine holds a short perp and an equal long spot in the same asset, so price moves cancel between the two legs and the only income left is the funding payment. This is what lets the reward pool earn yield without betting on price going up or down. It reduces risk; it does not remove it. See [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).

## The Yield Engine

The delta-neutral funding strategy on Hyperliquid, part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, that funds the reward pool. It is real, it is variable, and it is currently being **proven on the founder's own capital first**. See [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview).

## The pool's trading key

How the Yield Engine trades without ever being able to move money. The Engine runs one delta-neutral position for the whole pool, and the key the server signs with has **order authority only**: it can open and close the pool's orders, and it physically cannot withdraw or transfer. The key that could move funds out of the pool is held off-server, and your own funds stay under your own keys. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).

## Proving phase

Where the product is today. Before user money is accepted, the strategy runs on the founder's own capital on a public address, so the track record is built in the open. The vault that backs wzdUSD stays closed to user funds until an **independent security audit and a legal review** are complete.

## The Vault

What backs wzdUSD and, in time, holds the strategy's collateral. It is unaudited and closed to user money for now; it opens only after audit and legal review. See [Vault Overview](/vault/overview).

# Overview

## What ZDLT is

ZDLT is access and alignment, not speculation. Zirodelta builds programmable personal balance sheets, and holding ZDLT is how you plug into that system's income: while you hold ZDLT, you are paid rewards in [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd), the working dollar of the system. The longer and the more you hold, the larger your share. It is **a token that pays you to stay**.

It is a fixed-supply Solana SPL token. No new tokens are ever minted, no tokens were set aside for the team, and rewards are paid in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT, so holding is never diluted to pay holders.

## Why holding pays

The reward you earn for holding is funded by a real, market-neutral strategy, the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview), part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, not by printing tokens and not by new deposits. That yield is paid to holders in wzdUSD.

Two things make this a holder's token rather than a trader's token:

1. **You are paid more the longer and the more you hold.** [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers) act as reward multipliers. Selling resets you; staying compounds you.
2. **You are paid in a dollar, not in ZDLT.** Rewards never come out of ZDLT supply, so paying holders never dilutes holders.

The result is that the move that pays you is the same move that keeps holders and the system aligned: hold. Holding ZDLT should feel less like buying a token and more like accessing a financial system.

## Honest about where we are

The strategy is real but early. It is being **proven on the founder's own capital first**, on a public address, before user funds are accepted, and the vault that backs wzdUSD stays closed until an **independent security audit and a legal review** are done. Rewards are variable and never guaranteed. See the [FAQ](/more/faq) for the plain risks.

## Treasury (3% / 30M ZDLT): locked until $11M fully-diluted market cap

The 30M ZDLT treasury is an operational reserve, not a team allocation in disguise. It is **locked until ZDLT reaches a fully-diluted market cap of $11,000,000**. Until then, zero ZDLT leaves the treasury wallet, for any purpose. Anyone can verify the balance has not moved on Solscan.

After the gate is crossed (a one-way unlock), the treasury may fund liquidity on new venues, partner and integration incentives, and community programs, each preceded by a public announcement. The treasury never funds salaries directly, never dumps in routine operations, and never distributes ZDLT to holders as "rewards" (rewards are paid in wzdUSD, from the Yield Engine).

**Treasury wallet:** [`EaJ4aEKCSJKiLvJMBUMXZcmJp4GFqR5w1B94Xgv17PoW`](https://solscan.io/account/EaJ4aEKCSJKiLvJMBUMXZcmJp4GFqR5w1B94Xgv17PoW)

## What's on-chain today

* Mint and freeze authority revoked (verifiable on Solscan)
* 30M ZDLT in the treasury wallet, locked until $11M FDV
* Meteora DLMM pool live
* Discord tier gating (six tiers, all ZDLT-balance-gated)

## What's next

* [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd): the working dollar you are paid in.
* [Tokenomics](/zdlt-token/tokenomics): supply, and how the rewards are funded.
* [Utility](/zdlt-token/utility): what holding ZDLT unlocks, now and next.
* [Hard Rules](/zdlt-token/hard-rules): the commitments we have bound ourselves to.

# wzdUSD

**wzdUSD is the working dollar of the Zirodelta system, and the dollar you are paid in for holding ZDLT.** It is a yield-bearing dollar that grows over time: the earning line of a programmable personal balance sheet. Rewards accrue to ZDLT holders in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT.

## What it is, and what it is not

wzdUSD is closer to a **liquid-staking token than to a stablecoin**. It is meant to slowly appreciate, not to sit flat at exactly $1.

* It is **not a $1 stablecoin**, and we never call it one.
* It is **backed**, but it is **market-priced**: it can trade a little above or below its backing, especially in a heavy sell-off, the way a liquid-staking token can trade under its true value.
* We tell you exactly what you hold. No peg promise, no "always redeemable at $1" claim.

If you want a fixed $1 token, hold USDC. wzdUSD is the thing that is designed to grow.

## How it is backed

Every wzdUSD is minted only against **locked collateral backed by real USDC**. The system is built so that wzdUSD cannot be minted out of thin air: the supply is checked against the collateral that backs it.

That backing logic is built and tested, but the vault that holds it is **unaudited and closed to user money** until an independent security audit and a legal review are complete. Until then, wzdUSD exists in a proving phase, not as an open product. See [Vault Overview](/vault/overview).

## Why holders are paid in a dollar, not in ZDLT

Paying rewards in wzdUSD instead of ZDLT does two things at once:

1. **No dilution.** Paying holders never requires minting or selling ZDLT, so the token you hold is never watered down to pay you.
2. **Real value, not inflation.** You are paid in a dollar that holds and grows value, not in more of a token whose price you are hoping goes up.

## Paid more the longer and the more you hold

Your share of the wzdUSD reward pool is set by how much ZDLT you hold and how long you have held it. [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers) raise your multiplier as your balance grows, and staying (rather than selling and re-buying) compounds your position. This is the mechanism behind "a token that pays you to stay."

## Where the wzdUSD yield comes from

The reward pool is funded by a real, delta-neutral funding-capture strategy on Hyperliquid, the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview), part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, not by new deposits and not by printing tokens. That yield is **variable**: it can be low or even zero, and it is never guaranteed. The strategy is currently being proven on the founder's own capital first, on a public address, before user funds are accepted.

## The honest version

* wzdUSD is not a stablecoin and can trade below its backing short-term.
* The yield behind it is variable and can be zero.
* The backing vault is unaudited and not yet open to user money.
* Nothing here is financial advice.

# Tokenomics

The design is deliberately simple: **fixed supply, paid to hold.** You hold ZDLT, and you are paid in [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd) from a real strategy, never from new ZDLT. Supply never grows, and rewards never come out of supply.

## Supply

| Property         | Value                                       |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| Total supply     | **1,000,000,000 ZDLT**, fixed               |
| Mint authority | Revoked (supply can never increase) |
| Freeze authority | Revoked (no one can lock your wallet) |
| Team allocation  | 0%                                          |
| Treasury         | 30,000,000 ZDLT (3%), locked until $11M FDV |

The mint is a fair-launched Solana SPL. There is no inflation schedule, no emissions, no vesting unlock cliff to dump on you. What exists today is what will always exist.

## How rewards are funded

Holders are paid in wzdUSD. That wzdUSD comes from a real, market-neutral strategy, the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview), part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, that captures funding on Hyperliquid while holding no bet on price direction.

Two things this is **not**:

* It is **not funded by minting ZDLT.** Rewards are paid in a dollar, not in the token, so paying holders never dilutes holders.
* It is **not funded by new deposits.** It is real outside yield, which is exactly why it is variable and never guaranteed, some periods pay well, some pay little, some can pay nothing.

## Why the value accrual is real

When a holder asks "why should ZDLT hold value?", the answer is structural, not "because more buyers":

* **Fixed supply** (1B, cannot be inflated, 0% team).
* **Paid to hold** in an appreciating dollar (wzdUSD), more the longer and the more you hold.
* **No dilution**, because rewards never come from ZDLT supply.

The token that pays you to stay is worth more to a holder than a token that only asks you to hope.

## Treasury and transparency

The 30M ZDLT treasury (3%) is **locked until $11M fully-diluted market cap**, verifiable on Solscan, and never distributes to holders as rewards (rewards are wzdUSD, from the Yield Engine). See [Hard Rules](/zdlt-token/hard-rules).

Two commitments keep the numbers honest:

* **Public proving address.** The strategy runs on the founder's own capital first, on a public address you can watch, so the track record is built in the open before user funds are accepted.
* **Opex transparency.** Operating costs are reported so the split between what funds the reward pool and what keeps the lights on is never a black box.

## Honest about scale and risk

* **Early.** The strategy is being proven; the deposit-and-earn flow opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review.
* **Variable yield.** Rewards can be low or even zero. We will never publish a guaranteed APR, doing so before a track record exists would be cosplay.
* **Strategy risk.** Delta-neutral reduces price risk; it does not remove all risk (funding can turn negative, fees can erode yield). See [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).
* **Market price.** ZDLT is a small-cap token; its price is set by the market and can fall. Holding pays you, but it does not make the price go up.

Nothing here is financial advice.

# Utility

ZDLT is your access to the Zirodelta Financial Engine, and the main thing holding it does is **pay you**. Everything else layers on top of that.

***

## 1. Get paid in wzdUSD (the core utility)

While you hold ZDLT in [Zidee](/zidee-wallet/overview), you are paid rewards in [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd), a dollar that grows. You are never paid in ZDLT, so holding is never diluted to pay holders. The reward is funded by a real strategy, the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview), part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, and it is variable, never guaranteed.

This is the whole point of the token: you do not have to trade, time, or babysit anything. You hold, and you are paid for holding.

## 2. Tiers are reward multipliers

How much you are paid scales with **how much** ZDLT you hold and **how long** you hold it. Your balance places you on a tier ladder, and staying compounds your position. Tiers are reward multipliers, not trading limits, the higher your tier, the larger your share of the wzdUSD reward pool. See the [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers) doc for the ladder and how to climb it.

Selling resets you. Staying grows you. That is the game.

## 3. Discord tier access

Verified ZDLT holders get gated access to the Zirodelta Discord based on balance. Six tiers, each layered on the one below, synced from your on-chain balance by Zirodelta's own tier-role sync: lose the balance and you lose the tier, hold it back and you regain it.

| Tier           | Holding threshold |
| -------------- | ----------------- |
| **Mintaka**    | 1,000 ZDLT        |
| **Alnitak**    | 10,000 ZDLT       |
| **Alnilam**    | 100,000 ZDLT      |
| **Bellatrix**  | 1,000,000 ZDLT    |
| **Betelgeuse** | 5,000,000 ZDLT    |
| **Saiph**      | 10,000,000 ZDLT   |

Higher tiers unlock deeper channels and, at the top, private AMAs and closer access. The authoritative channel-to-tier mapping is pinned in the Discord.

## 4. In development

A staking ladder and a multi-level referral program are being built on the Zirodelta Financial Engine. Neither is live yet; both will be announced when they ship, and nothing about them is a promise of income.

***

## Honest notes

* Rewards in wzdUSD are **variable and can be zero**. There is no guaranteed APR.
* The strategy is **being proven first** on the founder's own capital; the deposit-and-earn flow opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review.
* Tier multipliers govern your **share** of the reward pool, not a promised return.

# Hard Rules

Things we have bound ourselves to, in code, in process, or in public commitment, that protect holders and the integrity of the token. These are not marketing promises, each has a concrete enforcement mechanism.

***

## 1. Non-custodial: we can never move your funds

**The rule:** Your master key lives in Privy (it is yours, and exportable), and you hold your own ZDLT and wzdUSD. No key Zirodelta holds can move your funds anywhere you have not authorized. The Yield Engine trades the pool with a trade-only key that can only place and cancel orders, never withdraw, and the key that could move funds out of the pool is held off-server. The deposit rail uses a policy-locked signer that can only forward your USDC along the single route you authorize. **None of them can withdraw or send your funds to anyone, including us.**

**Enforcement:** On Hyperliquid, the pool's trade-only key is approved for order actions only; the protocol itself rejects any withdraw or transfer signed by it. The deposit signer is locked by a server-side Privy policy to that one operation, and you can revoke it. Even if Zirodelta's backend were fully compromised, an attacker could trade the pool badly but could not take your funds. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).

## 2. Fair launch, no team allocation, no retained mint authority

**The rule:** The team received zero ZDLT at launch. Mint authority and freeze authority were revoked on-chain immediately after supply was set.

**Enforcement:** On-chain and irreversible. Verify `mintAuthority = null` and `freezeAuthority = null` on Solscan for mint `4PX31xRA1BaAyb2Js45ZKYp92VGWGp47yWeVs5CGVKbf`.

## 3. Holders are paid in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT

**The rule:** Rewards for holding are paid in [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd). They are never paid by minting or selling ZDLT.

**Why:** Paying holders out of the token's own supply is dilution dressed up as a reward. Paying in a separate, backed dollar means paying holders never waters down holders. Supply stays fixed at 1B forever.

**Enforcement:** Supply is fixed (mint authority revoked); there is no emission path that pays rewards in ZDLT.

## 4. No user money until audited and legal-reviewed

**The rule:** The vault that backs wzdUSD and holds the strategy's collateral stays **closed to user funds** until an independent security audit **and** a legal review are complete. Until then, the strategy is proven on the founder's own capital, not on yours.

**Enforcement:** The deposit-and-earn flow is gated; user deposits are not accepted into the strategy before the audit and legal review land. See [Vault Overview](/vault/overview).

## 5. Treasury is locked until $11M market cap

**The rule:** The 30M ZDLT treasury reserve is **locked until ZDLT's fully-diluted market cap reaches $11,000,000**. Until that one-way gate is crossed, no ZDLT leaves the treasury wallet, for any purpose. The treasury never funds salaries directly, never dumps in routine operations, and never distributes ZDLT to holders as "rewards."

**Enforcement:** The treasury wallet ([`EaJ4aEKCSJKiLvJMBUMXZcmJp4GFqR5w1B94Xgv17PoW`](https://solscan.io/account/EaJ4aEKCSJKiLvJMBUMXZcmJp4GFqR5w1B94Xgv17PoW)) is public; any outflow before the gate is a protocol violation requiring a public post-mortem. Post-gate outflows require prior public announcement.

## 6. Transparency: public proving address and published opex

**The rule:** The strategy runs in the open on a public address before user funds are accepted, and operating costs are reported so the split between the reward pool and opex is never opaque.

**Enforcement:** The proving address is published and on-chain readable. Opex is reported alongside the proving track.

## 7. Yield is variable and never guaranteed

**The rule:** We will never publish a guaranteed APR or a fixed return. Rewards in wzdUSD are variable and can be low or even zero, and wzdUSD is not a $1 stablecoin.

**Why:** A guaranteed return on a market strategy is a lie, and a token that promises a fixed yield invites exactly the wrong expectations. Honesty about variability is the commitment.

**Enforcement:** No marketing surface states a guaranteed number; the docs and app state the variable-and-can-be-zero language directly.

## 8. Upgrades are audited, time-locked, and opt-in

**The rule:** The SPL mint itself is immutable. Any future on-chain program (staking locks, reward accounting, governance weight) ships behind a time-locked contract (minimum 30 days between deployment and activation), is audited by at least one reputable third party before activation, and is opt-in only, no existing holder balance is touched without explicit user approval.

***

## Summary: what this means for you as a holder

* **We cannot take your funds.** No key we hold can withdraw or send money anywhere you have not authorized.
* **You cannot be rugged via the mint or frozen out.** Supply is fixed; no freeze authority.
* **You are paid in a real dollar, not in dilution.** Rewards are wzdUSD, never ZDLT.
* **Your money isn't at stake until it's audited.** The strategy proves on the founder's capital first.
* **You can verify the claims on-chain.** Mint, freeze, treasury balance, and the proving address are all public.

# Overview

Zidee is **the wallet where your money never sits idle**: the non-custodial wallet for your programmable personal balance sheet, built by Zirodelta on the Zirodelta Financial Engine. Today it is where you **hold ZDLT**; rewards, paid in **wzdUSD**, begin once the Yield Engine graduates its proving phase. It is a Progressive Web App at [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com), install it to your home screen and it behaves like a native app. There is also an Android app.

You log in with Discord or email and hold ZDLT; once rewards go live they accrue to you in [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd), the working dollar. No trading, no order books, no perp mechanics to learn.

## What Zidee is

A clean, non-custodial home for your balance sheet, starting with ZDLT:

* **Login:** Privy authentication (Discord or email). No seed phrase to write down at sign-up; Privy holds your master key inside a Trusted Execution Environment, and you can export it whenever you want.
* **Holdings:** one screen for what you hold, ZDLT, USDC, and SOL on Solana (plus balances used to fund and move in). Tap any token for its detail screen.
* **Swap to ZDLT:** in-app swap powered by Jupiter. Convert SOL or USDC into ZDLT in one tap.
* **Send / Receive:** QR and address for ZDLT, USDC, and SOL. Every transfer is signed by your own key on the device; the server never sees it.
* **Buy:** fund with crypto today, or with a card where supported (Privy onramp).
* **Activity + price:** recent on-chain transfers per token, and a daily sparkline so you can read the trend.

Zidee is built toward one balance that earns, borrows, and spends. Earning is in its proving phase (below); borrowing against your balance (the Credit Engine) and spending through fiat rails are in development.

## How you earn

You hold ZDLT, and you are paid in **wzdUSD** for holding. You are paid more the longer and the more you hold (see [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers)), and you are never paid in ZDLT, so holding is never diluted.

The reward is funded by a real, market-neutral strategy, [the Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview), part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine, not by new deposits and not by printing tokens. It is **variable and never guaranteed**: it can be low or even zero. The strategy is being proven on the founder's own capital first, on a public address, and the deposit-and-earn flow opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review.

## Who it is for

* **Holders who want to be paid for holding,** without learning a trading terminal.
* **People who want their crypto on their phone,** installed as a PWA, same surface across devices.

## Is it safe?

Yes, by construction. Your master key lives in Privy's TEE and is yours to export. No key Zirodelta holds can withdraw your funds: the trading key can only place orders for the strategy (Hyperliquid enforces that boundary, not a Zirodelta promise), and the policy-locked bridge signer can only forward your USDC along the one route you approved. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody) for the exact split.

## How to get started

1. Open [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com) on your phone.
2. Log in with Discord or email.
3. Add USDC, swap into ZDLT, and hold.

# Getting Started

This walks you through opening Zidee for the first time and getting to the part that matters: holding ZDLT. Plan for about 5 minutes if you already have a Discord account or an email.

> **Install:** on iOS, open the URL in Safari and tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, Chrome prompts with Install app. You can also use it from a normal mobile browser; installing just upgrades it to a full-screen, app-icon experience.

***

## Step 1 · Open the app and log in

Visit [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com) and tap Log In. Privy gives you two options:

* **Continue with Discord**: recommended if you already use Zirodelta's Discord; your Discord ID links automatically.
* **Continue with email**: Privy emails you a 6-digit code.

Privy creates two embedded wallets for you in the background, one Solana and one EVM. The keys live inside Privy's secure enclave: you never see them at sign-up, but you can export them anytime from Settings, then Export Key. There is no seed phrase to write down.

## Step 2 · Acknowledge custody

The first screen tells you your wallet exists, where the key lives, and that you can export it whenever you want. Check the box to confirm you have read it, then tap Continue. It is an explicit signal that you understand the custody model. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).

## Step 3 · Get ZDLT

Holding ZDLT is how you plug into the system: the more you hold and the longer you hold it, the larger your share of rewards. From the home screen:

* **Swap**: turn SOL or USDC into ZDLT in-app via Jupiter. Keep a little SOL for the network fee.
* **Buy**: use the Privy onramp to buy USDC or SOL with a card (where supported), then swap into ZDLT.
* **Receive**: send ZDLT (or USDC, or SOL) in from anywhere with the QR and address.

Your tier is set by how much ZDLT you hold. See [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers).

## Step 4 · Home

The home screen shows your address, your balances with USD values, and the action row (Swap, Buy, Send). The home surface is a swipe deck: Home, Earn, Borrow, and Spend. Tap any token for its detail screen (Send, Receive, Swap). Pull to refresh. Settings holds key export, notifications, security, and MFA.

***

## What is coming

Getting paid is in the proving phase. The strategy that funds rewards is being proven on the founder's own capital on a public address, and it opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review (see [the Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview)). When it opens you will deposit USDC into the vault and hold wzdUSD, your share of the pool; the Yield Engine runs the delta-neutral strategy at the pool level, and rewards are paid in wzdUSD (see [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd)), never in ZDLT. Until then, hold ZDLT and watch the proof in public.

Further out, Zidee is built toward one balance that earns, borrows, and spends: borrowing against your balance (the Credit Engine) and spending through fiat rails are in development as parts of the Zirodelta Financial Engine.

# Holdings & Actions

Zidee is a Solana-first wallet: one screen for your whole balance sheet. Your home screen lists what you hold on Solana, with a USD value next to each row. Tap a row to open that token's detail screen: sparkline, action buttons, and recent activity.

## What you can hold

| Row        | Shown when                     | Purpose                                                                                                         |
| ---------- | ------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **ZDLT** | you hold it | The token you hold to get paid; your balance sets your tier. |
| **wzdUSD** | your vault position is nonzero | Your vault share: the appreciating dollar you earn, valued at the pool's price per share. Taps through to Earn. |
| **USDC** | you hold it | Fundable, swappable stablecoin. |
| **SOL** | you hold it | Network gas, and swappable into ZDLT. |

Your USDC on Hyperliquid and Arbitrum is deliberately kept off this screen: it is how the engine moves value across chains, not a balance you manage by hand. If you are an existing user with idle funds still on Hyperliquid, a one-time "legacy" withdraw banner appears with a Withdraw action, and it hides itself once that balance reaches zero.

USD values come from live market data (Jupiter for SOL and ZDLT, the vault's price per share for wzdUSD); USDC is shown at $1.

***

## Detail screens

Each token row opens a detail screen with the same shape: summary card on top, sparkline with 24h change below, then the action row and recent activity.

### ZDLT · Solana

**Summary card** shows your ZDLT balance and current tier badge (Mintaka / Alnitak / Alnilam / Bellatrix / Betelgeuse / Saiph / No tier).

**Action row:**

* **Receive**: a QR code plus your address with a copy button. Send only ZDLT to this address; another token sent here won't fail on-chain, but Zidee won't show it.
* **Send**: a three-step flow (amount → review → complete), signed by your own key on the device. Disabled at zero balance.
* **Swap**: swap into ZDLT, powered by Jupiter, with a live quote.
* **Burn**: an irreversible token burn, behind an extra confirmation. Disabled at zero balance.

### USDC · Solana

**Action row:**

* **Receive**: same QR and address pattern as ZDLT, scoped to USDC.
* **Send**: the same three-step flow, signed by your own key on the device.
* **Swap**: convert USDC into ZDLT via Jupiter. This is the fast lane into the tier ladder.
* **Bridge** *(coming soon)*: will move USDC into the deposit rail for the pooled vault.

### SOL · Solana (native)

**Action row:**

* **Receive**: QR code and address for native SOL.
* **Send**: the same three-step, on-device-signed flow.
* **Swap**: into ZDLT via Jupiter.
* **Buy**: pick a destination (USDC on Solana, or SOL) and buy with a card where supported (Privy onramp). The purchase lands directly in your Solana wallet. To get ZDLT, buy USDC and then use Swap.

A hint card under the action row reminds you to keep about 0.0022 SOL on hand for network fees, so Send and Swap always have gas.

### Your earnings position (the Earn panel)

Your yield lives in the Earn panel, not in a Hyperliquid account of your own. When the vault opens, you deposit USDC and hold **wzdUSD**, your share of the pool, and its value tracks the pool as the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview) captures funding.

Today, while the Yield Engine is in its proving phase on the founder's own capital, the panel shows the vault as coming soon, with the deposit action disabled. The vault opens to user funds only after an independent audit and a legal review. Once it is live, the Earn panel shows your share balance and its current value.

The pool's own delta-neutral position, its perp and spot legs, hedge status, and the funding it has captured, is public on the transparency page, verifiable rather than shown as "your" position. The Earn panel has its own deposit and redeem flow; see **Withdrawing and redeeming** below.

***

## Sparkline + 24h change

Every token detail screen has a one-line price chart above the action row:

* **Resolution**: one point per day.
* **Window**: the last 30 days.
* **24h change**: teal when positive, red when negative, gray when neutral or unavailable. It is shown only when a clean day-over-day comparison exists.

Stablecoins are charted at a flat $1.

***

## Activity feed

**Per-token preview**: every token detail screen has a *Recent Activity* card showing your last 5 on-chain transfers, newest first. Each row shows the direction (sent or received), the counterparty, the amount, and a link to the transaction on Solscan.

**Full per-token view**: tapping *View all* opens the activity screen, which lists up to 20 transfers and lets you switch between ZDLT, USDC, and SOL with chips at the top.

The feed covers on-chain Solana transfers. Your vault earnings appear in the Earn panel instead, since they are not transfers you initiate.

***

## Withdrawing and redeeming

Your own assets never leave your keys, and every move is signed by you.

**Withdraw (available now).** The live withdraw flow sends your idle USDC out to an external Arbitrum wallet you specify, as a Hyperliquid `withdraw3` that you sign yourself:

1. **Pick an amount** (minimum $25) and a destination Arbitrum address (it cannot be your own Zidee address).
2. **Zidee prepares the withdrawal** for your signature.
3. **You sign in the Privy modal**, the same on-device signing used everywhere else in the app.
4. **The signed withdrawal is submitted.**

You sign the withdrawal yourself, so the server has no permission to withdraw your funds. (Zirodelta does hold a trade-only key that can close the pool's positions to free liquidity, but it can never move a dollar off to anyone.)

**Redeem your vault share (coming soon).** Once the vault opens, you exit by redeeming your wzdUSD back to USDC at its current price per share. The Redeem screen is a preview today; nothing is signed or moved until it goes live.

Zidee sends a push notification when funds land.

***

## Pull-to-refresh

Every screen with live data (home, token detail, the Earn panel) supports pull-to-refresh. It refreshes your balances, your tier, and your account status in one go.

# Custody

This page answers the only question that matters in a wallet: **Can Zirodelta take my money?**

The answer is no. The rest of this page explains exactly why, with the trust boundary made explicit.

## Self-custody by default

Your keys are yours. Zidee gives you two Privy embedded wallets, one Solana and one EVM (Hyperliquid), and both sit inside Privy's Trusted Execution Environment. You hold your own ZDLT and wzdUSD, and every transfer is signed by you in the Privy modal.

What you can do with your keys:

* **Send / receive / swap ZDLT, USDC, SOL** on Solana. You sign every transfer.
* **Withdraw your idle USDC** to an external wallet. You sign the withdrawal yourself, so the server has no permission to move your funds out: it prepares the payload, you sign it with your master key, and it only submits.
* **Deposit and redeem (coming soon).** When the vault opens, you approve a USDC deposit and receive **wzdUSD**, your market-priced share of the pool, and you exit by redeeming that share back to USDC at its current value. Both open only after the vault's audit and legal review; you sign each yourself.
* **Export your private key.** Settings → Export Key reveals the raw private key in a Privy modal so you can back it up or move it to another wallet provider.

Privy's recovery model maps back to your Discord OAuth or email, so if you lose your phone you can sign back in from another device and reach the same wallet. Privy has been audited, is SOC 2 Type II certified, and is used in production by exchanges, games, and consumer crypto apps.

## How the Yield Engine trades without touching your money

You never hand your funds to a person. When the vault is open, your USDC sits in the vault contract, and the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview) runs a single delta-neutral position for the whole **pool**, not a separate one per user. Two facts make that non-custodial by construction:

* **The withdraw-capable key is off-server.** The one key that can move funds out of the pool's Hyperliquid account is held off-server. No always-on machine can sign a withdrawal.
* **The server holds only a trade-only key.** To run the strategy, the server signs with a Hyperliquid agent key whose authority is capped by the protocol itself: it can place, cancel, and close the pool's orders, and Hyperliquid L1 rejects any withdraw or transfer signed by it.

So the worst a full server compromise can do is trade the pool badly. It cannot move a dollar off the pool's account, and it can never touch your own wallet. The ceiling on the damage is trading losses, never theft.

This is a protocol-level boundary, not a contractual promise.

## The deposit rail

When you deposit USDC, a Privy-policy-locked signer forwards it along the single route you authorize, and that is the only thing it can do. It cannot send your USDC anywhere else, cannot touch any other token, and cannot sign withdrawals. Privy enforces the policy server-side. You can revoke the delegation at any time from Privy's dashboard, or by exporting your key and rotating to a fresh wallet.

## Revocation

You can pull every authorization at any time:

* **Withdraw your idle USDC** to an external wallet at any time, signed with your own master key. There is no queue only Zirodelta can release. (Redeeming your wzdUSD share back to USDC opens with the vault.)
* **Bridge delegation:** revoke from Privy's dashboard, or rotate to a new wallet.
* **Privy session:** log out from Settings or wipe local storage on the device.

There is no "support ticket" path Zirodelta needs to involve. Every authorization lives on protocols and providers you control directly.

## What Zirodelta sees

Read-only access:

* Your **vault share** balance and its current value.
* Your Solana SPL balances for ZDLT, USDC, SOL (via public RPC).
* Your Arbitrum USDC and ETH balances (via public RPC).

The pool's own delta-neutral position is public on the [transparency page](https://wallet.zirodelta.com), not a private view into your account. Everything Zidee shows you is a re-render of what your own RPC calls would return. No privileged access to anything.

***

The vault opens to user funds only after an independent security audit **and** a legal review. Until then the strategy is proven on the founder's own capital on a public address, and nothing here is open to user deposits. See [Vault Overview](/vault/overview).

# Tiers

Tiers decide **how much you are paid** for holding ZDLT. Your balance places you on a ladder, and your tier sets your reward multiplier: the higher your tier, the larger your share of the [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd) reward pool. Holding longer compounds it further.

Tiers are reward multipliers, not trading limits. The ladder is named after stars in Orion.

## The ladder

| Tier           |    Min ZDLT |
| -------------- | ----------: |
| **Saiph**      |  10,000,000 |
| **Betelgeuse** |   5,000,000 |
| **Bellatrix**  |   1,000,000 |
| **Alnilam**    |     100,000 |
| **Alnitak**    |      10,000 |
| **Mintaka**    |       1,000 |
| **No tier**    | below 1,000 |

The lower bound is inclusive: exactly 1,000 ZDLT puts you in Mintaka; 999.99 keeps you at No tier.

Higher tier means a larger reward multiplier. Combined with how long you hold, your tier sets your share of the reward pool. Getting paid is in the proving phase today; once rewards are live there is no fixed APY, rewards are variable, and the wallet will show your running reward so you always know what your holding is paying.

## How the badge updates

Your tier badge sits on the ZDLT detail screen. It re-evaluates on login, on pull-to-refresh, and when you re-open the tier screen ("Check balance"). The check is a single Solana RPC call summing your ZDLT across token accounts, then matching the ladder. Lose the balance and you lose the tier; hold it back and you regain it. (Discord roles are synced separately, by Zirodelta's own tier-role sync reading the same on-chain balance.)

## What "No tier" means

If you hold under 1,000 ZDLT, you still have full wallet functionality (deposit, withdraw, send, receive, swap). You simply are not yet on the reward ladder. The home screen shows a banner inviting you to hold ZDLT to get on the reward ladder. Cross into Mintaka and you are on the ladder from the first cycle once rewards go live.

## Climbing the ladder

In-app ways to acquire ZDLT:

* **Swap from SOL:** SOL detail screen → Swap → ZDLT.
* **Swap from USDC:** USDC detail screen → Swap → ZDLT.
* **Receive from elsewhere:** ZDLT detail screen → Receive → QR / address. Buy on a CEX or DEX and send to your Zidee Solana address.

The tier screen has a **Buy ZDLT** link that opens Jupiter with your wallet pre-filled. Use whichever path is smoothest.

## Why ZDLT-gated

ZDLT is access and alignment: holding it is how you plug into the system's income. Tiers make that concrete: hold more, and over time you are paid a larger share. It is the same incentive in both directions, you are rewarded for staying, and staying is what keeps holders and the system aligned.

# Overview

The Yield Engine is the part of the Zirodelta Financial Engine that earns. It runs a delta-neutral, market-neutral strategy that captures funding payments on Hyperliquid, and the income it produces is what funds the rewards you are paid in wzdUSD for holding ZDLT. It never holds your funds.

## What it does

A delta-neutral trade has two legs, opened at the same size at the same time:

1. A short perpetual futures position
2. A long spot position in the same asset

If price moves up, the short perp loses and the spot gains. If price moves down, the reverse. The two legs cancel, so there is no bet on price direction. What is left is the funding payment: every hour, in a positive-funding market, the long side pays the short side. That funding, captured market-neutrally, is the source of the yield.

The Yield Engine opens both legs at the right sizes, monitors them, rebalances as they drift, and closes them cleanly. There is no order book for you to watch.

## Proving phase

The Yield Engine is real, but it is not open to user funds yet. It is being proven on the founder's own roughly $10k on a public address, so the track record is built in the open before anyone else is at risk. It opens to users only after an independent security audit and a legal review.

The yield is variable and can be low or even zero. Delta-neutral removes the price bet, not every risk: funding can turn negative, and fees can eat into the return.

## Non-custodial by construction

You never hand your funds to a person. You deposit USDC into the vault and hold **wzdUSD**, your market-priced share of the pool, in your own wallet. The Yield Engine then runs one delta-neutral position for the whole pool, not a separate one per user.

The key that can move funds out of the pool's Hyperliquid account is held **off-server**. To run the strategy, the server signs with a trade-only key whose authority is capped by Hyperliquid itself: it can place, cancel, and close the pool's orders, and the protocol rejects any withdraw or transfer signed by it. So the worst a full server compromise can do is trade the pool badly, never move a dollar off it, and never touch your own wallet. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).

## One engine of several

Zirodelta builds programmable personal balance sheets. The platform behind that is the Zirodelta Financial Engine: the Yield Engine (this page) plus the Credit, Conversion, Settlement, and Treasury Engines, the Referral Graph, and Fiat Rails, rolling out in stages. The Yield Engine is the one being proven in public first, and [Zidee](/zidee-wallet/overview) is the wallet that puts it in your hands.

## Read next

* [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody): the trust boundary, and exactly what the Yield Engine can and cannot do with the pool.
* [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained): the mechanics, the real risks, and what "no liquidation from price" actually means.
* [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd): the dollar the Yield Engine's income is paid out in.

# Delta-Neutral Explained

"Delta-neutral" means no net exposure to price. The position is designed so that if the price of the underlying asset goes up or down, it does not affect profit or loss. The only income source is the funding rate payment.

This document explains how that works mechanically, why it eliminates liquidation risk, and what can actually go wrong. This is the strategy the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview) runs for the pool. Your role is simple: you deposit USDC and hold a wzdUSD share; the Engine runs the position on the pool's behalf, and you never touch an order book.

## The mechanics

### Positive funding: the live path

When Hyperliquid's funding rate is **positive**, longs pay shorts. Every hour, every long position holder pays a small fee to every short position holder. The rate is typically expressed as a percentage of notional per hour.

To capture this yield delta-neutrally, the Engine runs two legs simultaneously:

**Leg 1 Short the perpetual**: the pool receives the funding payment every hour.

**Leg 2 Buy the spot**: the hedge. The pool owns the asset outright at spot.

If the price rises by $1,000 while the position is open:

* The pool's short perp loses $1,000
* The pool's spot holding gains $1,000
* Net P\&L from price: **$0**

If the price falls by $1,000:

* The pool's short perp gains $1,000
* The pool's spot holding loses $1,000
* Net P\&L from price: **$0**

Every hour, regardless of which direction price moved, the pool collects the funding payment on the short perp. That funding, captured market-neutrally, is the yield.

### Negative funding: on hold

When the funding rate is **negative**, shorts pay longs. To capture this delta-neutrally, the Engine would flip the strategy:

**Leg 1 Long the perpetual**: the pool receives the funding payment every hour (longs receive when funding is negative).

**Leg 2 Short the spot**: the hedge. This requires borrowing the underlying asset, selling it at current price, and buying it back later.

Shorting spot requires a borrow source for the underlying asset, which is not in place yet. Until it is, the Engine runs the positive-funding path only.

> **Note:** The negative funding path is currently on hold. The Yield Engine only supports the positive funding path (short perp + long spot) today.

## Why there is no liquidation risk

"No liquidation risk" is a specific technical claim. Here is exactly what it means.

In a normal leveraged long position, margin can be exhausted by a sustained price decline. When margin falls below the maintenance requirement, the position is liquidated, forcibly closed at a loss.

In a delta-neutral position:

* The short perp loses value when price rises, but the spot gains the same amount, so margin is automatically replenished by the increasing spot value
* The short perp gains value when price falls, and the pool is not levered into the falling price, it is hedged by the spot it owns

The perp margin loss is always offset by the spot gain (and vice versa). There is no directional margin call because there is no directional exposure. The position cannot be liquidated by price movement.

The Yield Engine does not use leverage on either leg. Both the perp and the spot position are sized equally in notional, with no leverage multiplier applied. This eliminates the margin call scenario entirely.

## What CAN go wrong

Being delta-neutral does not mean risk-free. There are real risk scenarios worth understanding.

### Sustained negative funding (rate reversal)

The most common risk. The pool holds a short perp + long spot because funding was positive (the pool was earning). The funding rate reverses to negative. Now the pool pays the longs instead of receiving.

When this happens, the pool loses money on the funding payment while holding the position. If the rate stays negative long enough, accumulated losses exceed accumulated gains.

**Mitigation:** the Engine monitors funding continuously and can close the position when the rate turns unfavorable, rather than holding into sustained negative funding.

### Spot-perp basis risk

In theory, spot and perp prices move together. In practice, there can be short-term divergence. The perpetual price temporarily deviates from spot. This is called basis risk.

During a delta-neutral trade, a basis divergence means the two legs do not perfectly offset for a period. In most cases this is temporary and self-correcting (the funding mechanism exists specifically to prevent persistent basis). However, during extreme market stress, basis can widen significantly before correcting.

This is not a liquidation risk. It is a mark-to-market fluctuation. The position remains open, and as long as the Engine does not close during the divergence, no loss is locked in.

### Operational risk

The Yield Engine operates through Zirodelta's backend infrastructure. If the backend is unavailable or delayed, orders may not be placed or closed in time. This is a real operational risk, particularly during periods of extreme market volatility when the system most needs to act.

**Mitigation:** Zirodelta's backend runs on dedicated server infrastructure with automated reconnection. The withdraw-capable key for the pool stays off-server, so a disruption is an execution delay, not a custody risk, and your own withdrawals are always available from your own keys.

### Negative-funding-path risks (on hold)

When a spot-borrow source is wired up and the negative funding path ships, an additional risk class applies: spot-borrow availability. If the borrow source's health degrades (borrow demand exceeds supply, collateral value drops on the source side), the Engine would reduce or close the position rather than maintain it at maximum size. This is a risk reduction mechanism, not a liquidation.

## Summary of risk profile

| Risk                                              | Type                 | Severity | Mitigation                                                           |

| Funding rate reversal | Yield erosion | Medium | The Yield Engine closes on a funding-rate threshold |
| Basis risk (temporary)                            | Mark-to-market       | Low      | Hold through divergence, do not panic-close                          |

# Funding Rates on Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid settles perpetual funding every **1 hour**. Binance, Bybit, and OKX settle every 8 hours. That difference matters for compounding, for how fresh the signal is, and for how the Yield Engine times entries. It is one of the reasons the Yield Engine runs on Hyperliquid.

## Settlement frequency comparison

| Exchange | Settlement interval | Settlements per day | Settlements per year |
| --------------- | ------------------- | ------------------- | -------------------- |
| Binance         | 8 hours             | 3                   | 1,095                |
| Bybit           | 8 hours             | 3                   | 1,095                |
| OKX             | 8 hours             | 3                   | 1,095                |
| **Hyperliquid** | **1 hour**          | **24**              | **8,760**            |

Hyperliquid settles eight times more often than the major centralized exchanges.

## Why it matters

### More frequent compounding

When the Yield Engine earns funding from the pool's delta-neutral position, the pool receives a payment every settlement period. On Binance that is three payments a day; on Hyperliquid it is twenty-four smaller ones. The same rate compounds more favorably at higher frequency, and that compounding accrues to the value of your wzdUSD share. The effect is modest day to day and adds up over weeks and months.

### Faster signal

Hyperliquid publishes a **predicted funding rate** for the upcoming hour, updated roughly every two seconds. On a 1-hour cycle the next settlement is actionable within minutes, so the Yield Engine can react to a rate turning negative within the hour instead of waiting up to eight hours. (See the risk side of this in [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).)

### Entry timing

On 8-hour venues the best entry is just after a settlement, to capture the full window. On Hyperliquid the next settlement is at most 59 minutes away no matter when you enter, so entry timing is forgiving.

## How the predicted rate works

Hyperliquid computes a predicted funding rate from the premium between the perpetual price and the oracle price:

```
premium = (markPrice - oraclePrice) / oraclePrice
predicted = clamp(premium / fundingIntervalHours, -0.05%, +0.05%)
```

When the predicted rate is high and positive, longs are paying shorts at the next settlement. That is the condition the Yield Engine looks for.

> **A note on annualizing.** A funding rate is a per-hour number. Annualizing it (the per-hour rate times the hours in a year) is just arithmetic on the current rate, not a forecast: funding moves constantly and can turn negative. Any single annualized figure is a snapshot, never a promise. What the Yield Engine earns is variable and can be zero.

# Settlement Mechanics

This document explains exactly what happens at each Hyperliquid funding settlement. What is calculated, who pays whom, and how it affects the pool's position. You hold a wzdUSD share, not a Hyperliquid position of your own; the position that settles is the pool's, run by the Yield Engine.

## What a settlement is

A funding settlement is a periodic cash transfer between the long and short sides of a perpetual market. It is automatic: no one signs or claims anything. At the exact settlement time, Hyperliquid's protocol calculates the payment and adjusts margin balances.

On Hyperliquid, this happens every **60 minutes**, 24 times per day.

## The settlement calculation

At each settlement:

1. Hyperliquid calculates the **funding rate** for the completed period. This is based on the time-weighted average premium between the perpetual mark price and the oracle (spot) price during that hour.
2. For every open perpetual position:

* **Long positions** pay or receive: `position_size_usd × funding_rate`
* **Short positions** receive or pay: `position_size_usd × funding_rate`

3. If the funding rate is **positive**:

* Longs pay shorts
* Long margin decreases by the payment amount
* Short margin increases by the payment amount

4. If the funding rate is **negative**:

* Shorts pay longs
* Short margin decreases
* Long margin increases

The funding rate is applied to the **notional value** of the position. Not the margin. A $10,000 short position at a 0.01% hourly rate receives $1 per hour, regardless of how much margin is collateralizing that $10,000.

## Effect on delta-neutral positions

In a delta-neutral position (short perp + long spot, the shape the Yield Engine runs), only the perp leg participates in funding settlement. The spot holding does not receive or pay funding. It is simply a price hedge.

When positive funding settles:

* The pool's short perp margin increases by `position_size × rate`
* The pool's spot position is unaffected
* Net result: the funding payment accrues to the pool every hour

As that funding compounds it lifts the value of the pool, which is the value of your wzdUSD share. (This is the Hyperliquid funding cash flow, not the wzdUSD reward itself.) This is the fundamental mechanism behind the Yield Engine's delta-neutral funding capture. The settlement credit is a cash flow, not contingent on price and not correlated with market direction. (Funding itself can turn negative; see [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).)

## Timing

Hyperliquid settlements occur at the top of every hour: 00:00, 01:00, 02:00... UTC (verify current settlement times in the Hyperliquid UI, as UTC alignment may vary).

The Hyperliquid UI shows a countdown to the next settlement. The funding rate displayed is the predicted rate for the upcoming settlement period; the actual settled rate may differ slightly based on the final hour's average premium.

## Predicted vs. Settled rate

Hyperliquid publishes a predicted funding rate in real time. This is an estimate of what the settlement rate will be based on the current premium. It updates continuously via WebSocket.

The predicted rate is an estimate for the upcoming settlement. The settled rate, which is what the pool's position actually earns, is the final calculation at the close of the period.

In practice, the settled rate closely tracks the predicted rate in normal market conditions. Significant divergence can occur if the mark price moves sharply in the last few minutes of the settlement period.

## What happens to the position at settlement

The pool's position is not closed or modified at settlement. Settlement is purely a cash flow event. Margin is adjusted, and the position continues unchanged. The pool keeps holding its short perp (and long spot) and captures the next settlement one hour later.

The position accumulates yield over time through repeated hourly settlements. The pool's settlement history is public on the transparency page, so the yield it has captured is verifiable rather than taken on trust.

# Overview

The vault is the pooled product at the center of the Zirodelta Financial Engine: it is what you deposit into to earn, and it is also how wzdUSD stays backed. It is not open to user funds yet, and it opens only after an independent security audit and a legal review.

## How it works

When the vault opens, you deposit USDC and receive **wzdUSD**, a market-priced share of the pool. You are not opening a position of your own: the [Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview) runs a single delta-neutral strategy for the whole pool, and the funding it captures compounds into the value of every share. To exit, you redeem your wzdUSD back at its current value.

The pool is split into two tranches:

* **Senior** is the wzdUSD share you hold: the working, market-priced dollar you earn and are paid in.
* **Junior** is a first-loss buffer that absorbs losses before they reach senior holders.

That structure, not a promise, is what protects the dollar you hold.

## What backs wzdUSD

Every wzdUSD is minted only against locked collateral backed by real USDC. The vault is where that collateral is held, counted, and reconciled, so the wzdUSD you hold is backed by reserves you can verify, not a number you take on faith. wzdUSD is an appreciating, market-priced dollar, not a $1 stablecoin; see [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd) for what that means.

## Status: coming, audit-gated

The vault is built but unaudited, and it stays closed to user money until both:

1. An independent security audit is complete.
2. A legal review is complete.

We would rather be late than custodial-careless. Until then, the strategy that produces the yield is being proven on the founder's own capital on a public address (see [The Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview)), and nothing here is open to user deposits.

## What it is not

This is not a borrow-against-your-tokens product, and not a deposit-for-a-fixed-APY product. There is no promised rate; the yield that reaches holders is variable and can be zero.

# FAQ

Straight answers about Zirodelta, ZDLT, the Zidee wallet, and how you get paid.

***

## What is Zirodelta?

Zirodelta builds programmable personal balance sheets: one balance built to earn, borrow, and spend, so your money never sits idle. The platform behind it is the Zirodelta Financial Engine; Zidee is the wallet that lets you use it; ZDLT and wzdUSD are how the system pays you. The live piece today is the Yield Engine, in its proving phase. Borrowing, spending, and referral income are in development. See [What is Zirodelta?](/getting-started/what-is-zirodelta).

***

## What is ZDLT?

ZDLT is access and alignment: a token that pays you to stay. Fixed supply of 1 billion, mint and freeze authorities revoked, 0% to the team. Hold ZDLT and you get paid rewards in wzdUSD, more the longer you hold. "Pays you" always means wzdUSD rewards, never a claim about the token's price.

***

## What is wzdUSD, and why am I paid in it?

wzdUSD is the dollar you are paid in. It is an appreciating, market-priced dollar, closer to a liquid-staking token than to a $1 stablecoin. It is not pegged to $1 and can trade a little above or below its backing. Rewards are paid in wzdUSD, never in ZDLT, so paying you never dilutes the token. See [wzdUSD](/zdlt-token/wzdusd).

***

## Where does the yield come from?

From the Yield Engine: a real, market-neutral strategy on Hyperliquid that captures funding payments without betting on price direction. Not from new deposits, and not from printing tokens. See [The Yield Engine](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/overview).

***

## Is the yield guaranteed?

No. It is variable and can be low or even zero. Funding can turn negative and fees can eat into it. Anyone promising you a fixed return is lying.

***

## Is it audited? Has it made money yet?

Not yet. It is pre-launch. The strategy is being proven on the founder's own roughly $10k on a public address, and it opens to user funds only after an independent security audit and a legal review. Early-stage means higher risk.

***

## Why does holding longer pay more?

Rewards scale with your tier and how long you hold: the more ZDLT you hold and the longer you hold it, the larger your share. The whole point is to make holding the dominant move instead of buy-pump-and-dump. See [Tiers](/zidee-wallet/tiers).

***

## Is Zirodelta non-custodial?

Yes. Your master key lives in Privy's secure enclave and you can export it, and you hold your own ZDLT and wzdUSD. The key that can move funds out of the pool is held off-server; the server holds only a trade-only key that can place the pool's orders but never withdraw, plus a policy-locked signer that can only forward your USDC along the one route you authorize. None can withdraw or send funds anywhere else. See [Custody](/zidee-wallet/custody).

***

## What is delta-neutral, and can the position be liquidated by price?

Delta-neutral means holding equal and opposite size in spot and perpetual on the same asset, so price moves cancel out and your income is the funding payment. A balanced, fully hedged position is not liquidated by a price move. The real risk is funding turning negative (a yield risk, not a price risk), so the strategy can still lose. See [Delta-Neutral Explained](/the-zirodelta-financial-engine/delta-neutral-explained).

***

## Why Hyperliquid's 1-hour funding?

Hyperliquid settles funding every hour, versus every 8 hours on most venues, so the same rate compounds more often and the Yield Engine can react to a reversal within the hour. See [Funding Rates on Hyperliquid](/hyperliquid/funding-rates).

***

## Will ZDLT get diluted or dumped?

No new ZDLT is ever minted, and rewards are paid in wzdUSD, not ZDLT, so paying holders never dilutes supply. Price can still fall, like any token, since any holder can sell.

***

## How do I start?

Hold ZDLT in the Zidee wallet at [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com). Log in with Discord or email through Privy, with no seed phrase to write down. See [Quick Start](/getting-started/quick-start).

***

## Do I need to be a trader?

No. The Yield Engine runs in the background. Your job is to hold.
